Gin and Jazz Night Goes Sky High on the Gold Coast

SkyPoint Observation Deck will transform into the Gold Coast’s hottest jazz venue on Saturday, 9 June and will be accompanied by a selection of the world’s finest gin cocktails.

Jump and jive the night away with a seven-piece jazz band, while enjoying canapes and a selection of cocktails inspired by some of the world’s best gin distillers including Ink Gin, Four Pillars and Hernö.

As an added bonus, the first 100 bookings will receive a free one-hour Gin Master Class prior to the event hosted by Ink Gin.

The Master Class you will be an opportunity to learn about the history of Gin, Ink Gin first steps, the process of making gin as well as the variations of gins.

The Gin

SkyPoint’s Gin and Jazz event will showcase Husk distillers, which produces the innovative floral infused Ink Gin.

They use an exotic blue flower to give the gin its natural colour, changing from deep blue to a blush pink when mixed.

The event will also feature Four Pillars, a small Australian distillery that produces barrel-aged gin and Swedish brand Hernö – each the perfect ingredient to create a variety of delicious cocktails.

Guests will be able to choose from different varieties on the night.

The Jazz

The seven-piece jazz band Jump, Jive and Wail will have the crowd on their feet in no time with a fusion of swing, rock-n-roll and rockabilly to dance the night away.

The Brisbane-based band can be found performing at some of South East Queensland’s finest jazz bars and are known for their energy and choreographed moves, complete with a musical collaboration including sax, trumpet, trombone, keys, bass, drums, guitar and vocals.

Tickets cost $95 per person and include three hours of canapes and three gin cocktails of your choice.
